Fall Salmon Steelhead fishing

Salmon and Steelhead fishing remain Strong on the Muskegon river. Its not uncommon to pick up 6 or 7 Steelhead right now.

And will improve in the next 10 days, rain in the forecast will help improver the number of Steelhead in the river.

Salmon fish is holding. with good number of Salmon throughout the river. Rain to will help to improve the Salmon fishing.

Summer fishing

Warm air warm water. water temps are up this year. Yes this has the fish scatter, but were catching fish. Trout are responding well to nymphs and to late evening drys. Small Mouth Bass are coming to the net Just fished a section of the Huron river with my fishing buddy Gary. A very nice section of river and we did well.

Summer fishing 2010

Seems I've been quite lax ed in my reports, busy with summer I guess. Between the rain and wind getting our April showers in June. The rain been keeping some of the river very cloudy and washing plenty of food for the fish in the rivers.

The river are clearing now a week NOW with out rain. I have been fishing Summer Steelhead on the St. Joe A few Skamania around and you have to have some time is needed to get them.


Small mouth fishing has been very good to Ok just depends on the river right now. Bug hatches have been very good the evenings have of course the best. Lots of Trout and again you have to put your time in to get the big ones.

Looking for summer Steelhead (Skamania) this week? So will I, we have a got a few around and I will be looking to bring some to the net this week.

As of late Trout and Small mouth have been the action. The Trout have been taking Drys and nymphs.

Small Mouth Bass have been coming to the net. Been using Spinning and bait casters as of late.

Getting a few Walleye and Pike in the Mix.

May be a few Steelhead left but not many. I think last weekend was the end of the spring run. Trout are fishing well Drys, Streamers and nymphs

Small Mouth are slow but should get on the bite after this weeks warm up. Summer Steelhead are just around the corner and Carp are coming up on the flats

A few Steelhead in the river to fish to yet. Trout have been rising to dry flys, The river is in good shape water levels are good. We are getting are April showers in May.
So time to look for summer Steelhead, Trout Sm Mouth And Walleye.
