Been awhile since my last post. Hope it rains this weekend. Yes there are Steelhead to fish, the crowds on the river are thinning. The run has been smaller this year but very fish-able. This maybe the future on Michigan Steelhead fishing. And that's OK.
The evenings have been cold to the river temps are good some rain would help we have not been blown out this year and we always get blown out. lots of good Steelhead fishing to come yet,
Big Trout have been rising and this weekends opener should be good.
Walleye opens this weekend also So Trout and Walleye festival will abound this weekend. The Walleye have been fishing Well also.

the steelhead are on the bite.
I have today off, It would be grate out there today, we have a nice snow fall this morning.
Stone flies are hatching and the Steelhead a gorging on them. Here are a few pic from the last two days. We were not perfect in getting all fish in the net
