Early March with the sunny blue bird days and clear water conditions. The Steelhead and Trout fishing is doing very well.
Fished 5 Days this last week and only 4 hours a day and have been Bring two to four Steelhead to the boat. Mixed it up a little on Thursday and did some Trout fishing on the Muskegon river. We found that the Brown trout and rainbow Trout were willing to take Midges.
I got a little over zealous on Saturday in the high sun and a floattella on the river. I have # guys that wanted to get some Walleye. Well there a a lot of Walleye in the river. Both rod on the second cast of the day, each fish on! We lost both those fish, and that was that for the day. Dang
Well back to Steelhead Monday oh Yeah.
